Over the years, we began noticing something difficult. Many of the pastors, missionaries, ministry leaders, and church families around us were faithfully pouring themselves out for others while quietly running on empty themselves.

Some always appeared strong and capable on the outside, planning retreats, leading ministries, serving churches, counseling families, and carrying enormous responsibility behind the scenes. Yet underneath the surface, many seemed exhausted, stretched thin, under-supported, under-trained, emotionally weary, and unsure how to sustain healthy ministry and healthy family life over the long haul.

We especially began noticing the unique weight carried by pastors’ wives and ministry families, women trying to navigate unrealistic expectations while also carrying their own God-given gifts, callings, marriages, children, and responsibilities with faithfulness and grace.

Cedar Creek Ministries was born from a growing conviction that ministry leaders deserve more than leftovers.

They deserve places of rest.

They deserve encouragement.

They deserve healthy leadership support.

They deserve care for their marriages, families, and spiritual lives.

And they deserve reminders that they are deeply loved by God and called faithfully into His work.

Our heart is to create spaces and resources that help ministry leaders rest, restore, and revive.
